The header speaks for itself. Life is constantly in motion, whether it’s work, school, socializing, shopping, exploring, the possibilities are endless. With South 400 being located in the heart of downtown Fort Worth, your lifestyle is no longer about where you live. It’s how you live.
Think about your daily routine as you take a look at our most popular 1-bedroom, the A2 at 702 sq ft. The dining counter that opens into an open floor plan is perfect for entertaining, or even a quiet meal at home. The kitchen is massive - boasting top-of-the-line fixtures and appliances – has ample amount of counter space, without budging into the entertaining space.
Everyone has their own opinions on how they unwind. The open-space concept of the living room is perfect to keep everything perfectly placed, without overcrowding.
The “dreamy” bedroom, (much larger than most bedrooms you might encounter) provides solitude and peace, whereas the private bathroom and walk-in closet are providing our newest neighbors with the extra...more
It’s finally here! This week we have our very first move-ins. In honor of this, below are a few moving lessons I learned the hard way, so you don’t have to.
1) Save your boxes for at least two moves. Small and sturdy is the way to go. Not only will they last twice as long, but it will ironically take half the time to move since they are lighter.
2) You can move hanging clothes without the hassle, bulk, or cost of hanging them inside a box. Just get the largest trash bag you can find, pull it around hanging clothes from the bottom, then cinch up the top so the hangers don't fall in. Once you get the bundle here to your new home, you can just hang the entire collection at once in your new closet.
3) This should go without saying, but be sure you LABEL boxes that you do use. Label as you go, and be detailed with what’s in each box. Don’t ask me how I forgot to be specific on which one my Keurig was in.
4) Totes and farmer’s market bags are perfect to keep your everyday necessities visible and easily accessible.
5) Be sure to...more
Fort Worth is expanding, it’s inevitable. Especially if you’re a Medical District professional looking for a new luxury apartment, or just want to live the Downtown Lifestyle without the congestion, look no further.
“The New Kid” on the block, South 400 is featuring luxury apartment homes that provide our residents with rare luxury amenities. Aspire to a higher level of living and comfort. What are a few benefits of being our newest neighbor?
First, you will find an industrial chic design, with a modern twist. In each of our apartment homes, the functionality of our design is as seamless as our style. We wanted to ensure that the homes our residents live in will show-off their personalities comfortably, through the amenities we offer - one of these luxury amenities are the 10-16ft ceilings present throughout the units. These, mixed with the two-toned paint, present a more open, inviting space in the home. These are just a few of the interiors that provide our residents with an apartment home that has an elegant structure underneath the gorgeous...more
One of our furry new neighbors, Samson is just all smiles about moving in! We aren’t just pet-friendly – we’re pet-obsessed. So, how do we balance the luxury for the both of us? As their humans, we get the amenities like our SkyLounge, resort-style pool, our indoor/outdoor patio with a garage-style door (complete with a ping-pong table) FreedomClimber, the list goes on! We promise you, Samson will not bring back that ping-pong ball, and he wouldn’t do so well on the rock climbing wall either. So how come our puppies are smiling so big, a week before their move-in date?
Because we spoil them just as much! Your dog will now have another reason to be even more excited for you to come home – not that they don’t already lose their minds when you walk in the door. We will have a convenient, spacious play park for our fur babies to run and get their energy out, even if you aren’t quite feeling the same run they are! Just steps away from your front door, your pet will have all the space they will need to run, play, and socialize! Socializing is very important for your pup - you...more
Meet our Leasing/Marketing manager, April! April was born in Chicago, and raised in Allen, TX. When she’s not in the office, she usually spends her days off with her friends, tackling 3-5 mile trail runs a few days a week, brunch (with mimosas, or it’s just breakfast) and of course binge-watching Shameless. And by binge-watching, she means for about 10 hours straight.
April has two fur babies – Chloe is a 7-yr old Yorkie, and Samson is an 8-month old Eskie-mix. Samson usually accompanies her running the trails, while Chloe would rather Netflix & chill. Absolutely no scary movies, though. April will eat anything spicy, and sushi is a close runner-up to being her favorite type of food. Her favorite drinks? Coffee, and wine, because life is about balance…right?
A few fun facts about April: after she graduated high school, she moved straight to New York City on her own for 3 years. Her favorite genre of music is classic rock, and Def Leppard is by-far her favorite band. She won a pageant at age 3 for jamming out and dancing on stage with her dad to AC/DC. She’s her...more
Meet our Senior Community Manager, Lacey! When Lacey is not at the office, she enjoys spending time with her two dogs, Lulu and Romo (Dak, for short) as well as spending her weekends with her precious niece Raelyn. A few of her favorite hobbies include snapchatting, shopping, brunch, and training as an NPC Competitor. She has been competing for two years now – however, in her offseason she enjoys participating in her co-ed kickball league.
A fun fact about Lacey: she was a competitive barrel racer for 8 years, with her thoroughbred horse named Sugar. Lacey has a bit of a shoe addiction, and lately she’s preferred boots over heels. (I guess working in new construction, we can assume why J) She is definitely a Jeep girl. Did you know her Wrangler is one of 75 exclusive models for their 75th anniversary?
You’ll catch her listening to some 90’s music in her office – N*Sync, if we’re being completely honest. After work you’ll run into her at the best Mexican restaurants in town, on the weekends - with a glass of rose in hand. Her words to live by are “Actions speak...more

Meet Matt, our new neighbor across from South 400. He is the owner of BellHaus Fitness – a Kettle bell gym. BellHaus is the one step above we’ve been talking up. Instead of rolling with the trends of classes with a “One Workout Fits All” mentality, Bellhaus customizes each individual guest’s workouts to help them reach their goals. Strength has a whole new meaning, find yours in your own way. Check out the video of Matt sharing a few unique points about his new gym. “Come and take it.”more

Sometimes, less is more – especially when calling this luxury Fort Worth studio apartment-home. South 400 just opened up preleasing to the best kept secret in Fort Worth. Now we don’t believe in sacrificing space for space and neither did the renters we spoke to. In fact, price and closet space were the 2 top items that were most important to them. The South 400 efficiency just hit a grand slammore
As 2016 closes out, and we begin to think and plan for 2017 we thought we would pause to remember just how crazy and unpredictable 2016 actually was. Every year we see a lot Pop Culture up’s and downs, but no one was prepared for Prince, George Michael, Leonard Cohen, Muhammad Ali (The GOAT), Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, Gene Wilder, Pokemon Go...more

This efficient and affordable non-profit organization is taking the hassle out of purchasing, owning and maintaining a bike - enjoy your ride at your own convenience. Plus, the closest station to our community is just a block around the corner off Galveston Ave and W. Vickery Blvd.

T-Minus 10 days. The Holidays are approaching much faster than we all anticipated. Especially for most of us who are wrapped up in ending our year strong at work, the time to shop for our loved ones can slip away from us. Usually this can result in being torn between finding the perfect gift, and finding the time to do so.
We’ve got you covered.
Here are a few of the best ideas we found for loved ones, especially with the time crunch we have going on.
Our favorite is the year subscription to Amazon Prime. Who wouldn’t reap the benefits of discounted items, and free two-day shipping? Not to mention the countless episodes of your favorite TV shows available at your fingertips.
On that note, most of these items on this list can be purchased on Amazon - which makes that two-day shipping come in handy for yourself, too. #NoCrowdsForUs
Being a last-minute Holiday shopper doesn’t need to come with huge price tag, either. Let’s face it, if we were all organized...more

Happy Thanksgiving from the new kids on the block, South 400!
After we’ve all stuffed ourselves silly with the turkey, stuffing, and maybe a glass of wine or two, the pressure of "deals" begin to surround us. Black Friday ads are everywhere. Popping up on your social media, every commercial on TV; there is no escaping the shopping craze. Are you feeling overwhelmed, did you run out of time to hunt down the best Black Friday deals? That’s right, we have your back. In fact, we are taking things a step further, and did the footwork for you. Below are a few of our best finds for Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals:

We are beyond excited to be the new kid on the block! Businesses have been writing their stories in Fort Worth for over a hundred years. The Near Southside district has evolved so much and we could not be more proud to settle in and write our own history.
“Prime Location” Would Be an Understatement
Near Southside is focused on hyper-local or authentically local. What does this mean? The area supports home grown grass root style entrepreneurship. Just around the corner from us, you’ll find the infamous Magnolia Avenue where you will find some of the best boutique shopping, cafe or fine dining, and of course Avoca coffee! Our neighbor, Rhar and Sons Brewery is (conveniently) just a block down! With downtown Fort Worth and Sundance Square being seconds away, Your hardest decision will be trying to decide if you...more
